Yes. Just go down to one of their stores. They have HUNDREDS of both new and used film DVD’s for sale. But probably not VHS for much longer. The videotape is dying. Everything is DVD today. Even some films are not releasing their home video on VHS any more.

If you are just interested in used films, go to a website like EBay. They have tens of thousands of used DVD’s, VHS and other formats for sale at reasonable rates.

Hollywood’s have a lifetime guarantee (don’t know how that works) and BB has a 30 guarantee, you can usually return them for any reason to get a refund or a diff movie.

Most of them do. They buy 10-20 copies of a film when it’s released so they have enough to meet demand, and then after a month or two sell all but a few copies at a discount. You can sometimes get old VHS movies really cheap. Most rental places are going all-DVD these days and are selling off their VHS inventory.

i know blockbuster does… they usually have specials like “3 for $20″ on previously viewed dvd. they sell new ones too.
