I was in 6th grade when this video was on MTV, when MTV was watchable. I actually did a recreation of the video for a class project. Of course I was Regan and received an “A”. Always will remember the video and song, sends a message that should resinate with todays generation…Vote Ron Paul 2008
Wow, it never ever (for some reason) dawned on me that the audience represented the UN.
This was video was equally controvserial at the time by including a fight between the USSR and USA in a arena srrounded by the rest of united nations which ends in the desctruction of the world – exacty waht the song was saying FGTH dared to say what everyone else was thinking but was afraid to say – I dont know why there is always a hesitance to question a government – if its wrong its wrong! And it saddens me to see its still hapening today – isnt that right Mr Bush?!
