i think almost any dvd players of today are able to play mini dvds.  try checking your pc dvd drive for example, do you see a small circular spot in the middle of the disc tray?  if you can find that in a disc tray of a regular dvd player, that means it can play mini dvds. your camcorder formats a recorded video to play on a dvd player, so it should be ok.</description>
